Principal’s Message

Talofa,

"Su'esu'e ma tautua fa'amaoni," Samoana High School's motto, can be loosely translated to mean, To Seek and To Serve With Integrity. This short yet powerful phrase perfectly sums up what I believe this great school is all about. The parents, administration, counselors, teachers and the rest of our proud Shark staff and community seek to inspire our 1,200 students to relentlessly pursue excellence through honest service and leadership. Through an education that integrates academics, athletics and a variety of extra-curricular activities, we yearn to prepare our students for the challenges of the "outside" world. Also, by merging the values of our Samoan culture into our curriculum, students are instilled with a sense of cultural pride that will surely anchor them as they face the seas of change and adversity.

At Samoana, we believe that every student is entitled to the best education. In collaboration with our local community, our teachers and staff do their best to ensure that each child is given that golden opportunity. Our ultimate goal is to prepare our students to succeed in this world in whatever capacity they choose. They are our investment for a brighter, better future.

Soifua,

Principal
